DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Cottage' with swimming pool. Refurbished farm (140m2), located in a peaceful setting, in a small hamlet of appr. 20 inhabitants. Panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
Charming location with private pond (600m2) and large meadow (8000m2).
Numerous signposted walking and cycling trips as from the house.

Ground floor

Entrance, hall, spacious open living room with sitting room (TV, radio, CD/DVD player, internet access, party games), fireplace and large dining table. Direct access to the terrace.
Open plan kitchen with dishwasher, 4 zone cooking range, electric oven, microwave oven with grill, coffeemaker, fridge/freezer combination, play pen for children.
Bedroom with double bed, cot, changing table, baby bath and washbasin.
Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Separate toilet and separate shower cabinet.

Upper floor

2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds and 1 washbasin. Third bedroom with double bed.

Central heating with fuel oil.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

On the spot: free fishing in the private pond (carps, heifers, crucian carps, gobies, ides, rock-basses, pikes) but also in the river Ourthe and the lakes of: Cherapont (5km), Vielsalm (10 km), barrage de Nisramont (20km) and Weiswampach (15km). Free maps available with signposted walking tours and mountainbike tracks in Gouvy and Houffalize, all starting in front of the house.

Ballooning possible with take off in the meadow next to the house: 150 euro/person for a 1 to 1,5 hour flight (3 to 4 people at minimum).

Activities within a 20km distance: kayak (15km), horse riding (3km), riding stable (3km), carting indoor(20km), tennis/squash/paintball (10km), visit to a touristic farm, taverns (Lupulus, Achouffe), subtropical swimming pool in Houffalize (10km) and Vielsalm (15km). Shopping in Bastogne (20km) and shopping mall at the Luxembourg border (11km). Cross-country skiing in Gouvy (5km) and alpineski in Baraque de Fraiture (15km). Water sports at the Weiswampach lake (15km).
