DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Whether for a family holiday, a get together with friends or a management team meeting or course. To explore the famous Tour de France route (Mont Ventoux) with cycling friends, or to just have a relaxed stay for yourself, Mirabel aux Baronnies, a medieval vilage situated in the Southern part of the Drome Provençale, is the right place to enjoy your holiday feeling in this lovely country side.
Right in the village centre of Mirabel aux Baronnies, you'll find our comfortable "Medieval Townhouse", which can accomodate up to 10 persons (more than 230m²). The house has it's own private garden and a roof terrace. If you would like to swim, feel free to use our swimming pool at La Françonne, a 5 minutes walk from La Biscatène.
La Biscatène is the ideal spot to stay either for 2 families with children spending their holiday together, or for your whole family. Alternatively La Biscatène could accomodate your Management team in order to organise "Get together" sessions or Presentations.
 
The house was built between 1680 and 1720. A complete renovation has taken place in 1996 by a local architect, maintaining the original ambiance.
 
All year round you'll find flowering vegetation in the garden.
 
Since the house has electric heating and a wood burning stove, it can be rented all year round.
La Biscatène is an excellent start for your Provençale Wine and Food tasting (discovery) tours.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The Baronnies are excellent to discover by walking or riding your bike. The Mont Ventoux is close by and all kinds of wine and olive oil tasting possibilites as well. Visiting towns like Avignon, interesting Roman excavations in Vaison la Romaine, Provencal markets... for anyone there are interesting or exciting thing to do in the region. La Biscatène in Mirabel aux Baronnies is never far away from them!

PRICES AND PERIODS

The house is rented all year alround. Rates include use of water and electricity, cleaning costst (75 euros) however are calculated seperately.

Rental rates for 2009:
January 3 - April 25: 500 euros
April 25 - June 20: 600 euros
June 20 - July 4: 800 euros
July 4 - August 22: 1200 euros
August 22 - September 5: 800 euros
September 5 - October 24: 600 euros
October 24 - January 2 2010: 500 euros

In taking a reservation, the visitor has to pay 30% downpayment and a deposit of 150 euros.
