DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

A long driveway leads you to the 17th century estate La Trousse. This 16ha estate has a nice moat with castle, orangery and court. There is a heated swimming pool, tennis court and wood with park to take walk as well.
Our house is part of the orangery and has a living room with American kitchen on the ground floor. French doors give access to the terrace in front from which you have view of the castle with its impressing chestnut trees alongside the moat. On the first floor is a bedroom with landing area, bathroom and toilet. The second floor has a large sitting/bedroom with authentic beam construction. The terrace in the back has a nice view of the large walled orangery garden.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The hilly environment is very well suited for walking and cycling trips. The ever appearing river La Marne offers magnificent views. Also possibilities in the neighborhood for horse riding and playing golf.
Euro Disney, Astrix and Obelix and la Mer de Sable are respectively 30, 45 and 20 km away and are easy to reach.
Paris is located 65 km away and can be reached within 45 minutes (via A-4). Also train connections from Lizy S/Ourcq or Meaux are an option.
The Champagne route is highly recommended and starts close to the castle. The route goes via Chateau Theirry to Reims.

Mid season: 31 march - 30 Juin 2012 and from 1 september -27 october 2012
Weekprice : € 495,- Midweek € 355,- en weekend € 250,-

High season: 30 Juin - 1 September 2012.
Weekprice : € 595,- Midweek € 455,- en weekend € 275,-

Week = 7 nights, Midweek = 4 nights, Weekend = 3 nights.
