Description & house plan

Very well suited for holiday makers spending their holidays at the Adriatic Sea but are interested as well in visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park (Unesco World heritage) or the Krka waterfalls (both were locations for the Winnetou movies). You are welcome at the house of the family Mirjana and Marjna Strinic for your "in-between" overnight stay.

On the ground floor are 2 rooms with double bed and 1 room with 3 beds, each room with private bathroom. On the 1st floor lies the apartment Marjan, with living room and kitchen, bathroom, large balcony and 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Very well suited for larger families or families travelling together. Extensive breakfast possible.

It is interesting to book this accommodation the day before your planned arrival at the Adriatic Sea. There will be less time pressure and the morning after you can enjoy a nice breakfast and visit the Plitvice Lakes a bit further on. At about 2 p.m. you can continue the trip and have a lovely and affordable meal at restaurant MACOLA in the village Korencia - pancakes with walnut stuffing as desert! You'll reach your destination at the coast in the late afternoon or in the evening.
Some guests leave 1 day earlier for home, go visit the Krka National Park and have an overnight stop at the house of the Strinic family.

The accommodation becomes more popular as well amongst families having children with respiration difficulties. They usually stay 1 to 2 weeks.
Rather new are the winter holidays here, due to the unique air which is said to have a healing effect and can be catalogued next to the health resorts.

Surroundings & activities

Aside from the Plitvice Lakes National Park you can swim in the mouth of the lake (in the village Korana), being a unique experience!
In the neighborhood of Jelov Klanac you can rent horses per hour or per day, participate at the 5 day trail in the steps of Winnetou, go rafting at the Una river in Bihac or go kayaking and fishing at the Korana river in Slunj. You can go down into the limestone cave or go cycling on one of the sign posted cycling tracks.
For those wanting to eat out in the evening are some charming eating facilities in the direct surroundings.

Overnight stay in a double room or room with 3 beds, starting from 20,00 euro/night.
Apartment Marjan for 4(+1) people - except for breakfast: 100,00/euro/night
Large breakfast is optional and is charged at 5,00 euro/adult/night.
An advance of 30% of the total amount will confirm the reservation, the balance needs to be settled before arrival.
