DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Kalavassos is a lovely village, caring and hospitable to all its visitors. Kontoyiannis house is a very large family house with secluded courtyard. Can be let as four large apartments or villa.

Kalavasos is a great base for exploring the whole island. Centrally located whole of Cyprus. 5 mins drive sea, Governors beach and Zigi fishing village. Lots of restaurants. We are 20 mins from Limassol, 25 minutes from Larnaca airport and 30 mins from Nicosia 1 hours drive from Paphos. Come pick grapes while sitting on your balcony or fruit from our orchard! Suitable for summer or winter holidays. A/C and central heating

Quiet holiday house in Kalavasos village centrally located for whole of Island ideal self catering family holiday

This is a family house built in the 1840's and refurbished in the 1990's. It is build around a courtyard housing 4 very spacious apartments. The house has lots of character and is great to get away from it all! Ideal as a home away from home. Lots of people revisit and others like to rent it as a villa for large family holidays!

Valley of Kalavasos dam. There are lots of orchards nearby with oranges and olives among other fruit. You are quite welcome to visit us in the winter season when we pick olives and to see how olive oil is made. We will also take you to see how traditional haloumi cheese is made. For swimming Governors beach is nearby and ideal for families with lots of nice beaches and restaurants

Kalavasos locals are very friendly and we have quite a few nice coffee shops in the village square which is a hang out of all the locals in the evenings. There are also a few nice restaurants in the village if you want to try local food. Archeological sites nearby in Kalavasos and Chirokitea ancient neolithic site is about 5 mins drive. Zigi fishing village is also very near with lots of lovely fish restaurants and a nice peer to walk on on the evenings.
If you are looking for night life Limassol is only 20 mins away and Larnaca and Nicosia are at most 30 mins from there.

Lots of attractions near and around village. Centrally location means that you can explore everything in Cyprus. Below some of the obvious attractions:
Village life and countryside. We have a nice orchard to stroll and pick your own fruit
Ziggy fishing village with local tavernas 5 mins drive
Governors beach 10 mins drive with great beachs and restaurant, including water sports and games for children
Camel farm by the beach at Mazodos
Horse Riding and cycling also available in the village
Historical sites nearby. e.g Chirokitia Neolithic site nearby
Limassol 20 mins for water parks, night life, water sports and everyghing else available in large towns
Larnaca 30 mins Nicosia 30 mins, capital with lots of museams etc
Paphos 1 hour renown for its water sports
Mountains 1 hour, lovely wineries to visit etc

House available all year. Water, electricity, bed-linen, all taxes, cleaning (every 3 or 4 days)

16th March to 15th November , Flat 1 & 2 = 60 euros per day, Flat 3 - 65 euros per day, Flat 4 - 90 euros per day

16th November to 19th December Flat 1 & 2 = 48 euros per day, Flat 3 - 65 euros per day , Flat 4 - 72 euros per day

20th Dec to 6th Jan Flat 1 & 2 = 60 euros day, Flat 3 - 65 euros per day, Flat 4 - 90 euros per day

7th Jan to 15th March Flat 1 & 2 = 48 euros per day, Flat 3 - 65 euros per day , Flat 4 - 72 euros per day

For all apartments and all seasons :

All extra persons are charged 10 euros per person per day
A/C is normally charged 5 euros per unit per night.

Policies:

Twenty percent deposit required in order to confirm reservation.

No refund on deposit.

50% on outstanding due amount will be taken if this booking is cancelled 7 days before arrival dat
