DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

You will find this cottage 1,200 meters above sea level, in a sunny location, offering magnificent views of the valley. Maroldenhof is situated in one of the most beautiful hiking areas of Europe. Here children can play in an area near the house while the creek behind the house is excellent for swimming. Barbecue facilities are available at the house (on the lawn which includes garden furniture and a parasol). The village of Hinterglemm is just 4 km away. The accommodation is accessible in winter and you will find adequate parking facilities directly in front of the Maroldenhof. It is only 1 km to the ski lift and just 0.5 km to the ski trails. The Saalbach Hinterglemm ski circuit is in the immediate vicinity. You can reach the cable car in a few minutes by ski bus. The 30 cottages will provide a wonderful culinary experience with their tasty Pinzgauer specialties.

Three hundred years of mountain farming history connects Maroldenhof to modern lifestyles and culture. Enter into the "good office" of the house, where the warmth of the Pinzgauer chimney welcomes you. 3 sitting groups offer comfortable space for individual families or larger groups. For those who would like to be alone, go to the adjacent cozy room. In the well-stocked kitchen you can prepare breakfast or a hearty soup. Upon request we can serve a good breakfast. Via wooden staircase access the floor with its old ceiling beams where you have a choice between 6 beautiful 2-3 person bedrooms with partial private shower and wash basin. From your room you have a breathtaking view of the mountain scenery. After a full day of hiking or skiing relax in the sauna next to the farmhouse. The farm is child-friendly.

The incomparable view of the Hohe Tauern to the Leoganger Stone Mountains accompanies the tourist on their journey to the Glemm Valley mountain world. Twelve marked hiking and Nordic-walking routes, totaling 71.4 kilometers, await the athletically ambitious guests in the Glemm Valley. 180 km of mountain bike trails make the Saalbach Hinterglemm Alpine circuit the largest in Europe. The new "Captain Hook" outdoor swimming facility offers a unique experience with its 1,000 sq meter area of water. All summer long you can enjoy the magical world of Devil Valley in Saalbach Hinterglemm for zero tariff!
