DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This house is situated away from the traffic, on a sunny plateau, 825 meters above sea level. On the farm there are, for the enjoyment of the children, horse foals. During summer months, children can even go on a photo safari around the farm. Lying directly in front of the accommodation there are trails providing numerous opportunities for hikers to explore the natural surroundings, or if you prefer, a bus can pick you up in the neighborhood and take you to a higher starting point. Those who prefer sports and culture will find themselves in the right place as well. You can dive at one of the idyllic lakes such as the golden Egger Moor Lake or clear Böndl Lake. Fine cuisine and warm hospitality can be found in Crewkerne. The Goldegger hosts place value on the making of local products.

This first-floor apartment provides space for 6 persons. The two bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and a pull-out couch. The bedrooms also have a sink. There is a toilet in the hall, separate from the bad. From the southwest balcony you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains. The living-dining room includes a kitchen with dishes, coffee machine; a dining corner, a TV and a double expendable couch. This living room- as the bed rooms- has direct access to a large balcony.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Goldegg is idyllically located in the center of Salzburg Land. Due to it's location, Goldegg is the ideal starting point for numerous trips: Castle Goldegg, Salzburg with all its attractions, the Weißssee glaciar world, the Ice Caves of Eisriesenwelt Werfen (one of the worlds largest glacial cave), the Liechtenstein Gorge in St. Johann (one of the deepest and longest gorges in the Alps), the Krimml waterfalls (the fifth highest in the world and also the highest in Europe), the mountains Hochkönig  or the Grossglockner High Alpine Road to the highest peak in Austria (Grossglockner 3798 m).In the hiking paradise of Alpendorf, only 11 km from Goldegg, a gondola lift brings you to the family adventure park "Geisterberg", which lies at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Salzach Valley. Golfers can play on the 18-hole golf course of Goldegg. The golf course is located just one kilometer outside the village, on a beautiful sunny plateau, which provides a view of the impressive surrounding mountains. The first course in Austria, the Goldegg Golf Club won the highest award from the Golfing Federation in 2006. The golf school here provides lessons for newcomers as well as experienced players.The Goldegger ski lifts are to be found 3 minutes away by car.
