Apartment Sonnrain is located on the first floor of a private apartment house, directly on the cycle path in the centre of Leogang. It is only a short distance from the Ski lift and in summer the superb outdoor swimming pools & tennis courts are less than 100 mtrs from the house.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with an extra childs bed, 2 bathrooms, a living/kitchen room with full kitchen facilities including dishwasher, full oven and 4 ring stove top. There is also a double size sofabed. A large south facing balcony offers magnificent views.
In our house we have a sauna, solarium, hot tub, children's play room, social room with pool, table tennis ,table football, a small bar, lounge with TV/DVD (with cable & Sky TV) and a computer.
There is a heated ski boot drier and secure ski and cycle store. Outside in the garden is outdoor furniture for summer, a BBQ for guests to use & just across from the house is a children's park. It is possible to increase the apartment size by adding an adjoining bedroom & bathroom, or reduce by 1 bedroom for smaller groups. |

Surroundings & activities |

Leogang is a quiet village located only 1 hour from Salzburg. It is an ideal winter and summer resort, with fantastic ski area of 200 Km linked with Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Other winter activities:
snow shoe walks, horse sleigh rides and cross country skiing are all available. Excellent ski schools offer tuition from 3 years of age. Younger children or non skiers can be cared for in a special nursery/ kindergarden (2-7). Evening floodlit skiing, sledging and a ski show offer all round family entertainment.
For summer Leogang is famous for the challenging Mountain Bike Park and there are many village cycle paths for the whole family to enjoy. Cycle rental is available. The area has many golf courses (handicap certificate usually required), hiking trails and swimming pools. The summer LOWEN CARD- FREE for our guests gives 1 daily ride on the cable car (not with a bike) free unlimited entrance to 2 swimming pools and a lake pool, Supervised kids activity programme, weekly guided walks, a free taxi ride up to 12km, plus discounts at museums, pony rides, sports studio, golf club, go-karts, tandem flights and high ropes course.
Nearby at Zell am See it is possible to enjoy water sports, with tuition. Kaprun glacier offers virtual year round skiing. A little further afield is Krimm's famous water falls, the salt mines, ice caves, and many gorges & water falls in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Adventure seekers can enjoy river rafting, canyoning and rock climbing all nearby. |
