DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
- Chalet to let - A beautiful chalet, max 8 persons and 2 little children; Königsleiten, Tirol at 1,600 meters!
As per our web-site.
Our new chalet is situated in Königsleiten, in Tirol, Austria, nestled at 1,600 meters just 5 kilometres past Gerlos.
Fitted out with all expected conveniences; 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms each with two beds.
A fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator with separate freezer compartment and coffee maker.
Large balcony with outside furniture with cushions.
A walking and ski-boots drier. And private under cover car parking The ski lifts start at a distance of 30 metres form the chalet. The ski slopes are large and uncongested with 150 kilometres of runs and 50 lifts!
Königsleiten has a happy and friendly atmosphere. There are a multitude of hotels, restaurants, townhouses and a reasonable number of private chalets.
The village is ideally situated having a southerly aspect (thus plenty of sunshine), surrounded by forest and having a practice ski run snug in the middle of town.
An ideal setting for families with children including the fact that the village is at the end of a main road, thus only light local traffic.
Also in the summer it is an excellent place for a break. Beautiful walking trails in Königsleiten with its spectacular views of the mountains and a graceful lake, or in the Kitzbuhleralpen and the Hohe Taurn National Park (the largest in Austria) with its picturesque villages where time has appeared to stand still. Or by example the beautiful Krimmlerwasserfalle, the highest waterfall in Europa!
One can enjoy wind surfing, fishing and swimming in the lake, which is only 2.5 Km from Königsleiten.
All daily grocery requirements are available from the local store.
