Assenede is one of the oldest villages in Flanders Our charming NON SMOKING cottage, a formel huntinglodge from 1934 with the comfort of today , 3 km from the village center is on a property of 1000 sqm in the middel of a rural area and nature reserve Doornendijk and surrounded by dikes, papletrees and lakes. Several terraces overlooking the spectacular Flemish nature.
We offer you 2 double bedrooms - bathroom - kitchen - sittingsroom and dinningroom with fireplace - books and information of the region, HD LCD TV - CD - DVD - wifi internet.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The willow-lined canals, lush green pastures and extensive soft, sandy dunes of Flanders need no introduction ; their beauty has been captured for centuries by some of the world's greatest artists. The Meetjesland, however is known only to a discerning few, yet it has much to offer anyone seeking peace and quiet.
So you can say back to nature, but don't forget the historical towns of Ghent 20 km - Bruges and Damme 40 km - Antwerp 40 km and the Dutsch North Sea coast 26 km are nearby. The area is also a paradise for cycling and walking.
At the house, free bicycles are provided for guests.
Activities in the Assenede area include tennis - bowling - golf - sailing - surfing - swimming-pool - fishing - bicycling - hiking.
