<p>The 'Millenniumhoeve' (millennium farm) with its 4 apartments occupies an excellent location close to Maastricht, the oldest city in the Netherlands. Belgium's oldest town, Tongeren, is also close by. Both historic cities have plenty of museums, beautiful nature areas and tourist events. The 'Millenniumhoeve' is situated in a quiet location and offers plenty of opportunity for hiking and cycling. At a mere 6 km you will find yourself in the middle of the Vrijthof in Maastricht with its cosy terraces and town bustle. Maastricht has a lively shopping centre, plenty of entertainment and a sizzling nightlife. The Millenniumhoeve is ideal for groups up to 22 persons. This former farmhouse has been converted into a holiday accommodation. Apartment Coen is cosily furnished and contains all the modern comforts. It has 2 bedrooms, both furnished with 2 single beds. In the living room there are 4 extra sleeping places (on couches). The bathroom is very spacious and is equipped with a shower, wash stand and toilet. In the living room there is an open kitchen equipped with a TV, refrigerator, freezer, gas cooker and microwave. Adjacent to this room lies a common room which contains a large kitchen, extra toilets, showers and a washing machine. A highchair and baby bed are also present. The Millenniumhoeve has a large terrace with an extensive green / sunbathing area. Apartment Coen is suitable for 8 persons at most, while the Millennium farm has room for groups up to 22 persons.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

This neat and beautiful apartment is part of a farmhouse which lies on the Albert Canal - a great place for an enjoyable holiday! Plenty of hiking and cycling trips possible in the vicinity. Centrally located, it offers numerous possibilities for guests of all ages. In a 6 - 18 mile radius you will find the towns of Tongeren, Hasselt, Liège and Aachen. Cca. 3 km away there is the shopping district. 'De Brusselse Poort' and the centre of Maastricht are 6 km away. The region is famous for its vineyards and marl caves. Eben Emael is the largest fort in the world. In the common room of the house you will find brochures on events in the area as well as other information. In August the so-called Preuvenemint of Maastricht, a festival with music and stands, takes place. In May and September there is the Maastricht Fair.
