DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Three star sgite in a stone house in a village near the site of the historic town of Bastogne. House completely renovated in 2009.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, dining room and large lounge.

The kitchen is fully-fitted with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, Senseo coffee machine, hob with extractor fan, microwave oven and kitchen utensils.

The lounge has comfortable armchairs, cable television (Belgacom TV) and DVD player. Firewood is provided for wood fires to warm you up on winter evenings.The internet modem is in the lounge and powers a WiFi network.The dining room is equipped for 6 people.

On the first floor are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and wardrobe. The larger bedroom also has a baby cot. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower and washbasin, and a separate WC.

On the second floor is a bedroom with two single bunk-beds and a shower-room with shower and washbasin.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The cottage is situated in a large garden on the Ardennes plateau. Near Bastogne and Houffalize.

Many walks are possible from the cottage or small distances. Two ravels pass a few hundred meters.

The proximity of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg can somewhat create a get away and allows to buy alcohol, cigarettes and fuel cheaper than in Belgium.

PRICES AND PERIODS

Accommodation is available all year. At the cost of rent plus utilities (water, electricity, heating oil and possibly wood for the fireplace).
Cleaning is done necessarily by us. It is a quality assurance.
A deposit of 150 euros is required on arrival and usually returned at departure time.
