DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This apartment is located in the Bulgarian town of Bansko. Bansko is a picturesque mountain town situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, in southern Bulgaria. It is a popular ski resort. This very attractive town offers an interesting combination of the pristine nature of the Pirin Mountains (on the national cultural heritage list) and the stylish atmosphere of an ancient Bulgarian town. The ski season here runs from mid-December until mid-May and is the longest ski season in Bulgaria. There are 44 snow cannons which help blanket the area with snow. Bansko is situated at a height of 925 meters, and the ski area extends to 2600 meters. A new cabin lift brings you (within 25 minutes) to the top of the slopes of Bansko. These have a length of 65 km and are well-maintained. There are 30 km of blue, 27 km of red and 3 km of black ski runs, and 5 km of cross-country trails. The ski area has a total of 14 lifts. The apartment, located near the center of town and ski lifts, is part of a complex with 24 suites. Each apartment offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Hotel facilities include: a lobby, bar, restaurant, Internet, cable TV, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, laundry and parking.

This new and luxurious apartment is suitable for up to 6 persons. The total (residential) area of the apartment is about 65 square meters. The layout is: a hall, lounge, and an open kitchen with a fridge / freezer, electric stove and microwave. The living room has a color TV with remote and a dining and sitting area. The apartment has 1 bedroom furnished with a double bed. In addition, the apartment has 2 single beds, two 1-person sleeping sofas and a 2-person sofa. Duvets, pillows and linen are available. The apartment also has a bathroom with a shower and sink. The complex has a traditional restaurant complete with large fireplace. Here you can enjoy a variety of wines along with the wonderful Bulgarian cuisine.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Bansko is a beautiful city situated between the Pirin, Rila and Rhodopi Mountains, in southwestern Bulgaria. Bansko lies near the Greek border. The town is very popular, even in summer, and makes a great starting point for excursions into the mountains and surrounding areas. Located in the foothills of the Pirin Mountains, near the Pirin National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site), the city offers a cozy atmosphere. The city is not only popular because of its winter sports, but also for its 120 cultural monuments, museums and the Bansko School with its icon exhibition. The region is known for its delicious cuisine and colorful folklore and has a lot to offer in the way of entertainment. The après-ski here is also very pleasant with many bars which stay open until the early morning! Transfer from the Sofia Airport is simple and takes about 2 hours. In the vicinity you will find the following possibilities: thermal baths, mountain biking, horseback riding, mountain climbing, hiking, para-gliding and trout fishing.
