The translation of villa Skala in English is 'villa-at-the rocks', a name given due to its dominant location at the bay of Podgora Caklje. This spacious house has been newly furnished and has all required facilities. It has a ground floor + 3 stores, each having 2 identical apartments and an extra room for 2 people, which can be booked in addition to the apartment. The stairs to the promenade lies next to the villa.
All accommodations have air-conditioning and satellite TV and the apartments with kitchenette and dining/living room have everything a family of 4 needs. Your host Ivo Milicic can be reached at any time and is at your service.
The steep climb on the stairs is rewarded with a breathtaking sea view from the balcony. High quality water, private beach, sunshine, unique Mediterranean vegetation on the slopes of the Biokovo mountains and a lovely smell that goes along. What does one need more'
Choose your own fish from the aquarium and have it prepared for dinner to your taste.

| SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES |

Sunbathing is possible at the beach in front of the house. For beginning as well as experienced water sportsmen there's a variety of possibilities going from kayak to paragliding and hang-gliding. Long beach walks along the famous promenade and white pebble beaches, with seawater of the best quality, mountain walking or cycling to the highest mountain top of Biokovo Sv. Jure 1.762m is a nice challenge.
A real adventure as well is the rafting trip along the intact nature system of the Cetina river with drinkable water and a temperature of 15°C.
Or have a trip to the fresh lakes of Bacina (38km away) or go swimming and surfing at the Neretva delta. The cultural treasures and the world heritage of Trogir, Split and Dubrovnik can better be avoid during weekends if you like the quiet. The same applies to your outward and return journey.
Plenty of tennis courts. The Podgora nightlife is interesting as well. You will not easily forget the smell of the Mediterranean air even when you're long back home. |
