DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
Welcome to this small village, situated in the middle of South Istria, near the small towns of Barban (on the east) and Svetvinčenat (on the west). Although the village is only 22 km from the largest Istrian town (Pula), it still retains its old-fashioned character. Most of the houses in this picturesque village are over 200 years old, which gives you the opportunity to imagine how life used to be in this part of Istria. In a way, this village and its stone houses have been preserved in time - with all your senses you can feel the different and simpler way of life that used to exist here. And thanks to the owners of these recently restored villas, you can enjoy your holiday in this small historical village without sacrificing any of the modern conveniences you have come to expect in a 21st century accommodation.<br>This group of 3 houses is part of a 3,000 m2 property with a private swimming pool. <br>
First comfortable house of 198 m2 suitable for 8 person. On the ground floor you will find a living/dinning room with an open fireplace, a kitchen with a table for 8, and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a freezer, oven and dishwasher. In the living room you can enjoy the satellite TV, radio, and CD/DVD player. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (with shower/wc) and on the top floor there are two twin bedrooms. In front of the house there is a large terrace.<br>
Another comfortable house of 156 m2 is suitable for 8 person. Apart from a living/dinning room with open fireplace there is a kitchen and one twin bedroom on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a freezer, oven and dishwasher. In the living room you can enjoy the satellite TV, radio, and CD/DVD player. On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, two of which have their own bathrooms. This house has a nice terrace as well.<br>
Third separate stone house faces the swimming pool (4x10 meters) and is part of a group of 3 houses. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen and the dining/ living room with access to a large terrace. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a freezer, oven and dishwasher. In the living room you can enjoy the satellite TV, radio, and CD/DVD player. Nearby the kitchen there is a bathroom with a shower and washing machine. Upstairs in the attic there are two double bedrooms. <br>Outside you can enjoy swimming pool and BBQ area. There is a playground for children and a plenty of space for walking and playing on the 3,000m2 grounds.The accommodation also has a BBQ area and parking space for 5 cars. <br>

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
Southern Istria is known for a number of interesting natural, historical and cultural attractions, all of which are just 20 to 30 minutes away by car. The main tourist towns of Pula, Rovinj and Poreč are also nearby. The nearest beaches are around the town of Rovinj, 22 km away. Rovinj, a former fishing village, is one of the most beautiful towns on the Adriatic coast. If you would like to visit the countryside, there are a number of well-organized bike and hiking trails you can choose from (we can provide you with maps). 20 km to the south, in the region of Vodnjan, you will find "olive oil roads" with olive oil producers which are considered among the best in the world. Just 6 km away there is the beautiful medieval town of Svetvincenat with its well-preserved / restored castle where many cultural events such as dance festivals and jazz evenings are held. Bike trails can be found in this area, too. If you take the road to Poreč, you will pass through a very rich wine area with many wine cellars. Istria is best known for its Malvasia (malmsey) white wine and red teran (we have wine maps too!). <br>One on the most interesting Istrian natural phenomenons is the cave of Baredine, which can be found in this area as well. A guided tour lasts 40 minutes and inside the cave you will see 5 chambers with underground lakes.<br>The largest Istrian town (Pula, 22 km) is famous mainly for its numerous old Roman remains. The most popular attraction is the Roman amphitheater (arena), which is the sixth largest and one of the best preserved in the world. During the summer the amphitheater hosts pop concerts, ballets and operas (Carreras, Pavarotti, Sting, Anastasia, Simply Red, Eros Ramazzotti, Zucchero, Jamiroquai and Norah Jones are some of the stars that have performed here). Only a few kilometers from Pula you will find the Brijuni Islands with their national park. You can visit the park by guided tour boat (starting from Pula harbor).<br>
