DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This house has three apartments. It is situated in a quiet corner of the popular holiday resort town of Frymburk, on the shores of Lake Lipno, the largest lake in the Czech Republic. Frymburk is surrounded on all sides by the Bohemian Forest which has a beautiful, rugged landscape. Families with children, seniors, athletes and anglers will all feel at home here. Within 300 meters of the accommodation you will find shops and the Hotel Frymburk which has an indoor pool and wellness facilities such as massage service, aromatherapy and a salt cave. The town of Lipno has many recreational facilities and is just 7 km away. The historic and tourist town of Český Krumlov is also worth a visit and is just a 20 minutes drive from the Austrian border. The house has a spacious garden where children can play. SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

In Frymburk you will find all the necessary amenities such as a bus stop, health center, gas station, garage, post office, police station, fire station of the South Bohemian region, ATM, shops (grocery, drugstore, souvenirs, stationery), restaurant and a sports shop where everything is available for your stay along the grassy banks of Lake Lipno. On the south side of Frymburk there are vendors lining the long road to the shore of the lake, where boating is also possible. On and around the lake you will find numerous activities, including fishing (fishing boats are available for rent 3 km away), swimming (catamaran) sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. Near Frymburk you will also find two important towns: Lipno and Černá. From the accommodation you can easily reach larger centers like Horní Planá, Vyšší Brod and Český Krumlov . The latter is a historic town which is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. It is dominated by a castle and summer residence, plus a driving school and an open air theater with a revolving stage. The market and surrounding narrow streets are paved with cobblestones, and the many tourists, restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, galleries (including Bohemian crystal), cafes plus a lot of water, help to contribute to a very special atmosphere here. The Vltava River flows through the city, making trips in and around the city by boat possible. The capital of the region, České Budějovice, world famous for its Budweiser brewery, is ideal for extensive shopping or going out and is not more than three minutes away by car.
