DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
This resort is located in the village of Maisod. It is situated at a height of 550 meters, near Lac de Vouglans La Mercantine. The resort consists of 40 double-decker apartments overlooking the sea. Facilities of the resort include a tourist information desk, sitting area complete with a fireplace, reading corner, foosball and table tennis table, a court for volleyball / basketball, a heated swimming pool with children's area (from June to September), a laundry and a parking lot. A baby set (crib, baby bath and highchair) is available free of charge and you can also borrow (at the reception area) a fondue set or games. For a fee you can rent bed linen, bath linen or final cleaning. You can also rent a TV. Payment is to be made on-site. Each week there are guided hikes in the immediate surroundings and you will find afternoon programs such as videos and even a local market. In the evening there are also organized programs including performances, dances, etc. For children ages 6 to 14 there are a variety of child/youth clubs. Shops are located 6 km away. The nearest ski resorts are 30 to 60 minutes away and offer Alpine skiing as well as cross-country skiing. This holiday resort is ideal if you are looking for a beautiful, natural environment with opportunities for sightseeing and winter sports.
This 3-room apartment is suitable for a maximum of 5 persons and has an area of 49 m2. On the ground floor you will find a bedroom furnished with a single bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower and washbasin. There is a separate toilet. On the 1st floor there is a bedroom with a double bed. In the corner kitchen there is an electric hotplate, refrigerator, electric mini-oven and a coffee pot. There is a terrace with patio furniture and a parasol. A baby set is available free of charge (crib, baby bath and highchair) - please indicate at the time of reservation if you are interested. For a small fee you can rent a package of bed linen, bath linen (towel, bath linen, bathmat, and soap), laundry or a cleaning package. You can also rent a TV. You must pay for these extra services on the spot. Blankets and pillows are provided.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
This resort is located 40 km from the town of Lons-le-Saunier, which is known for its thermal baths. Nearby you will find interesting attractions that you will want to visit such as the toy museum in Moirans; whistle exhibition in St. Claude; the salt mines of Salins-les-Bains (a UNESCO site); the wooden church of Lavancia; and much, much more. There is much to do in the way of sports as well. For example, you can go for a hike around the Lac de Vouglanssee (lake) or along one of the other lakes in the region (it is not without reason that this area is called the Lake District!). Or if you prefer, you can go by mountain bike around the lakes. While at the lakes, enjoy a pedal boat ride or rent a canoe. In addition to hiking and biking you can go fishing, horseback riding, climb a tree or even go Karting. The waterfalls of Hérisson are also recommended for a visit. The nearest ski area is 18 kilometers away (about 30 min) and lies in the domain of Prénovel les Piards, at an altitude of from 910 to 1,050 meters. This area has trails totaling 68 km. The nearest Alpine skiing is in Les Rousses, situated at a height of from 1,120 to 1,680 meters. This area is 61 km away (about 1 hour) and offers a variety of slopes: 16 green, 7 blue, 16 red and 4 black. In Les Rousses you can also enjoy cross-country skiing over 220 km of trails. About 37 km away there is Septmoncel where you can go for a dog sled ride (reservations required).
