DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Domaine La Tuilerie is located on a beautiful yet quiet spot in a rural environment amidst rolling hills. The main building is a former "fermette" with pigeon-house and over from the 18th century. The buildings were renovated with extra attention to the authentic details. The Grange was refurbished to luxury Quercy style gites, including beams and a ceiling á la Française. Gite La Tuilerie has a surface area of 108m2 and it suitable for a maximum of 5 adults and a baby. Gite la Tuile is 70m2 and suitable for a maximum of 3 persons. Via the terrace and opening doors you enter the salon and luxurious open kitchen/dining room. The salon was furnished with great care and has satellite TV. There is a scullery with washing machine and separate toilet. On ground floor you find a bedroom with a double bed (200x200) with en suite bathroom with double basins and a spacious shower. There is a second bathroom also with shower. Over the wooden staircase you reach the first floor with a spacious bedroom with 3 single beds. Garden furniture, sun beds, sunshades and barbecue are present. From the terrace you have a beautiful view (you are standing at 200m above sea level).

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Domaine La Tuilerie is located 200m above sea level and the rolling terrain offers a splendid view over the hills. Montcuq is a historical village dating back to the 12th century and it lies in the department of Lot in the wine region Cahors. Each Sunday you can enjoy the best markets offering local products, Montcuq has butchers, bakeries, banks, souvenir shops, supermarket and various cosy terraces. You'll also find various fine restaurants in the area where you can taste the local specialties. The Maalbec grape takes you to the chateau where you can taste the wines. On Thursdays in July and August you can visit the flea market. Close to Montcuq is a lake with beach and picnic area with a bar. It's a great place to go for a swim, enjoy water sports or fishing. The golf course of Roucous is 17km away. In the area there are also possibilities for horse riding, balloon flights, mountain biking, cycling along the river Lot and rafting on the Aveyron river. You can also visit picturesque places like St. Circ Lapopie, Rocamadour, Sarlat, Gourdon, Moissac, Toulouse (airport for airbus planes), Lalbenque (truffle), Cahors and castle Bonaguil.
