DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This house is situated in "Domaine de La Flotte", on a short distance from the main building. It has 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom/WC, a well-equipped modern kitchen and a living room with TV/SAT. The large doors lead to the sheltered terrace, from where you have a view to trees and hedges, the meadows and the stables, where the horses wait to take you for a ride into the beautiful mountainside.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Domaine La Flotte, an estate of 40 ha situated on the "Col de La Flotte" where you have a beautiful view of the Pyrenees, is an oasis of quiet, wooded hills and meadows. From a source in the wood a small brook takes its rise: La Flotte. You can make magnificent walks here and enjoy the unspoilt nature or explore the surroundings on a mountain-bike. You can hire one of the horses and go for a ride in the hillside, with or without the guide. You can make use of the swimming pool or go to the nearby Lake Montbel, where you can surf, sail or hire a pedalo. In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants. In Mirepoix, a lovely medieval little town, there is a market every Monday.
