DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This baby-friendly holiday home is located in Ábrahámhegy which is on the north shore of Lake Balaton. The accommodation is situated in a peaceful area 1,000 meters from the lake. Around the house there is nice, well-looked-after garden. A nice, calm place for a holiday. In the garden there is a good open-air barbecue which helps to provide an intimate atmosphere. There is also a parking place in the garden. There is restaurant and shop located just 300 meters away. Badacsony is part of the Balaton-felvidéki National Park and offers numerous possibilites for hiking walking, or cycling. Ábrahámhegy is famous for it’s wines so not surprisingly you will find numerous private wine cellars and restaurants on the hillside.

This two-story, well-furnished holiday home is suitable for 6+2 persons and has an area of approx. 80m2. It contains 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a living room with sat TV and comfortable sofa, and a well-equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster) with a dining area. The ground floor has one bedroom furnished with two beds (for 2 children), and a bathroom with a basin, shower and toilet. On the terrace there is table with chairs. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms. 2 are furnished with double beds, the third has 2 single beds. The bathroom on the first floor has a bathtub and toilet. There is a balcony on this floor.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

This holiday home is located on the north shore of Lake Balaton. It is a part of the Balaton-felvidéki National Park. The National Park provides a number of possibilities for hiking or cycling. Guests can spend their holiday swimming, playing tennis or riding with a horse carriage. The beach is clean and well-maintained. Don’t forget to visit one or more of the fine restaurants here where you can enjoy a typical Hungarian dish. And when you have finished with dinner, drop by one of the private cellars on the hillside to sample a wonderful wine. It is well worth taking a journey to the ’Tavasbarlang’ in Tapolca (12km), where you take a boat ride into a cave, or visit the African Museum in Balatonederics (20km). The famous Héviz Thermal Bath is only 35km from here. Keszthely, known as the ’Capital of the Balaton’ is 30km away and offers museums, cultural events, shopping centers as well as a lot of possibilities for leisure activities. Ábrahámhegy is 3km from Salföld where guests can go on a horse carriage ride, go horseback riding or take part in a horse show.
