DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
This friendly and enchanting accommodation is located in the town of Bük, Vas county. Bük is a little resort town situated 114 km from Vienna and about 220 km from the capital of Hungary, Budapest. The accommodation is near the famous spa of Bükfürdő. In a lovely, flower-filled garden you will find two buildings. On the ground floor of the main building there is the apartment of the owner, a kitchen/restaurant and lunchroom. Upstairs there are four studios, each with a separate entrance. In the other building there are three additional studios. For those who are looking for a friendly, familiar atmosphere with good food and fine wines and brandies, this is the ideal place! The on-site restaurant only serves the guests. In the garden there is a special place for children - a playground, and in summer there is also a pool. The enclosed garden is ideal for parking cars and provides a safe environment for children. For families with children there are highchairs, changing tables, bathtubs and cribs at your disposal. In the garden there is a barbecue and pavilion and in front of the studios there is sufficient garden furniture. Services available free of charge include: wireless internet access, parking, use of the playground, bicycles, tennis court, fishing possibilities and wellness facilities like a sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation area. There is a massage service available for an additional fee. There are more possibilities for an active holiday at a distance of just 2 km. Here you will find an 18-hole golf course, sports grounds and a thermal spa with 27 pools.
This studio is situated on the upstairs floor of the main building. It is a comfortable accommodation for 2 + 2 persons. The kitchen is fully-equipped including a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, sink, china and other amenities. The room contains furniture made from pine, a wardrobe, bed, night table, table and chairs, commode, reading lamps and a TV. There is a king size bed and collapsible double couch bed in the room as well. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There is the possibility to add an extra bed for a third person. The cost for the extra bed needs to be paid locally. There are other facilities available for common use like a lounge, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, relaxation area and sports area with playground and tennis court. All of these facilities are free.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
The small town of Bük is the proud home to one of Central Europe’s most active mineral springs. This nationally certified spa resort is located in a Hungarian region at the foot of the Alps, just 50 kilometers from the Austrian border on the road to Vienna. It is 220 km from Budapest and 50 km from Sopron. The second largest spa in the country offers perfect relaxation for persons of every generation. The spa occupies 13 hectares and is a real spa complex with 27 pools. These pools are filled with medicinal, thermal and drinking water. There are outdoor pools and indoor pools with a total water surface of 5000 m². 11 indoor pools, 12 outdoor pools and 4 half-covered pools with roof await guests year round. The medicinal waters of Bükfürdő are particularly apt for locomotive disorders. For diseases of the digestive system, a drinking cure is recommended. The medicinal waters have a curative effect themselves, but complex cures with medical practitioners are also offered. Services available in the thermal spa: medical examinations, complex medical cures, hydro-, electro- and physiotherapy, medical gymnastics, various massages, laser, parafango, mud pack, ultra sound and weight bath. The mineral springs produce curative hydrogen carbonate water containing fluoride, iodide and iron. As a bathing cure it is good for rheumatic and orthopedic diseases and trama. As a drink it is beneficial for diseases of the digestive system. Respiratory catarrhal can be cured by breathing the aroma of the waters. Osteoporosis, all locomotive disorders, after-care treatments following orthopedic and neuralgic operations, sciatica, arthritis, lumbago, gout, arthrosis, post academic rehabilitation and diseases of the digestive system. Bükfürdö is not only famous for its spa but also has remarkable quality cultural and sports programs of which the most significant are the Summer Festive Days of Bük and the Sports Gala in December.
