This amazing apartment house is located in the renowned spa and wellness resort town of Hévíz, only 6 km from Lake Balaton! Composed of six apartments with a swimming pool and Mediterranean garden, this accommodation meets high quality standards.The location of the house is perfect - just 15 minutes (on foot) from the Spa & Wellness Center and lake. The house is part of a nice quiet neighborhood close to the city center where you can find shops, bars and other facilities (only 100 – 200 meters away). The following facilities are also at guests disposal: a swimming pool, deckchairs and parasols, free wireless internet access, parking place in the enclosed courtyard, barbecue and other services such as organized programs, and rental of bicycles or a car. For guests the owner offers the following preferences: discount on the entrance fee to the thermal bath at the lake and discounts for balneal and spa therapies.
This studio apartment is a comfortable accommodation for 2 persons. It consists of one bedroom furnished with a king size bed; a bathroom with a bathtub; a living room with a kitchen; and a terrace. The kitchen and the bathroom are fully equipped and contain all the necessary cooking, household and bath utensils/appliances. Other facilities include: free wireless internet access, free parking place, swimming pool and garden furniture as well as a barbecue (in the garden). Upon request and for an extra fee: bicycle and/or car rental and a bathrobe. SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
The thermal lake of Hévíz is the largest biologically active, natural thermal lake in the world and is great for both body and soul. The 4.4 ha lake is fed by a spring which gushes forth from a depth of 38 meters. The water contains sulphur, radium and an assortment of minerals. Due to the high water output of the spring, the water of the lake is completely renewed every 85 hours. The water of Lake Hévíz is equally rich in dissolved substances and gases and so combines the favorable effects of naturally carbonated medicinal waters with those containing sulphur, calcium, magnesium and hydrogen-carbonate as well as those with a slightly radioactive content. The medicinal mud, which covers the bed of the lake with a thick layer, deserves special attention. The Hévíz mud, unique in its kind, contains both organic and inorganic substances such as radium salts and reduced sulphuric solutions which give it a special medicinal property. The temperature of the water is 23-25 C in winter and 33-36 C in summer.The healing effects of the therapy covers a wide range of locomotor ailments, for example: rheumatic locomotor diseases, osteoporosis, degenerative spinal/joint diseases, Bechterew Syndrome, inflammation of the joints in their chronic phases, post treatment of injuries and locomotor operations as well as tender tissue rheumatism, secondary diseases of the joints, chronic, peripheral, nervous, mechanical-related complaints, pre- and post treatment of operations on the joints and discs as well as chronic and gynecological conditions. Treatment does not just have a temporary effect but prevents the pain from recurring for months. This means that therapy received in the spring will bring a pain-free Christmas for those suffering from rheumatism. The following health issues are also benefited: infectious diseases, tumors, heart problems, circulatory disorders, thrombosis and other blood-related diseases, asthma, high blood pressure and pregnancy.Without the advice of a doctor, 30 minutes of bathing is suggested prior to treatment. In cases of chronic stomach and intestinal catarrh, the water may also be drunk for medicinal effects. A treatment at Hévíz is not just for the healing of diseases but also for prevention, relaxation and recreation. Due to the service providers at Hévíz, the requirements of guests staying in private accommodations can be met as well: sports and beauty services not to mention many other facilities for the relaxation of the body and mind are available in the town.
