DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
<p>This accommodation is part of a beautiful and modern holiday park situated just 250 meters from the Ionian Sea in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. The complex is equipped with lots of facilities for your sports, recreation and leisure enjoyment. It has been built to modern standards yet in the style of ancient Greece. The park has been divided into 82 rooms and 238 apartments. From the resort you can access the beach with its facilities via a beautiful trail. If you wish, you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. There are two restaurants, one reserved for the hotel, the other is an a la carte restaurant. The restaurant is available for breakfast or half board (breakfast, lunch or dinner). You can also enjoy a complete range of activities including water sports. Facilities of the park include two large swimming pools with children's area, a children's playground and an amphitheater where the activity team (every night in July and August) organizes various activities and entertainment programs such as dances, live music, shows, cabarets and concerts. In terms of sports there is more than enough to meet your needs. There are three tennis courts, two football pitches, a mini-golf course, archery, volleyball, basketball and bocce. Next to the reception you will find a supermarket, a kiosk, boutique, hairdresser and medical center. You can also hire bikes locally. In addition, you can use the common laundry room which contains washing machines. Upon request you can book various excursions (at the reception). There is a private car park. <!-- p--></p>
The hotel has 82 rooms with the expansion achieved in 2005. The double, triple, quadruple rooms and suites are spacious and comfortable all equipped with balcony, mini bar, telephone with direct inward dialing, color TV, air conditioning, hair dryer and are furnished with taste and quality materials of the highest quality.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
The region of Basilicata lies in the "neck" of the boot in southern Italy. It is a region full of wonderful surprises, with a rich and inviting nature, splendid architecture and art history, friendly, but humble and hospitable people and of course lots of delicious food and wine! Basilicata overlooks the lush shores of the Ionian Sea, an area with a huge legacy of history and culture. You will find relics from great civilizations of the past here preserved in well-kept archaeological parks. This region offers a wide range of traditions and festivals, which over the centuries have been kept alive, plus a rich cuisine with authentic flavors and natural ingredients. This holiday park makes an excellent base for visiting the nearby cities of Matera, Metaponto and Bernalda with its imposing castle. Matera is an ancient city whose origins date back to prehistory. The city is best known for "Sassi", an area consisting of houses built partly in the caves of tufa, and known as the "underground city". This city is to this day considered one of the oldest in the world. Metaponto was founded by the Greeks in the middle of the seventh century BC and was one of the largest colonies of “Magna Graecia”. Her wealth was mainly composed of a large and fertile area, bounded by the rivers of Bradano and Basento, and famous for its cereals.
