DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This detached house lies on the outskirts of the village of Ripabottoni, in Molise, in the south of Italy. Molise is one of the smallest regions in Italy. Still unknown to many, here you can enjoy the atmosphere of the real traditional Italian life. Here you are far from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism. In addition, you are sure to enjoy the varied landscape. The house is surrounded by lots of greenery and has a private garden with a south-facing terrace. From the terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the olive groves and hills.

This detached house has an area of about 60m² and can accommodate three persons. The house consists of two floors. On the ground floor you will find a living room furnished with a 3-person couch. The kitchen is fully-equipped including a 4-burner gas cooker, toaster, hot air oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and coffeemaker. You access the first floor via an interior staircase. On this floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the other has 1 single bed. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower, sink, toilet and hairdryer. The house has central heating, a TV, CD and DVD player and a washing machine. This accommodation has a private terrace with garden furniture. From the terrace you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Typical of the landscape of Molise are the vast forests, hills, high plains and lakes interspersed with beautiful old villages. Part of the large national park of Abruzzo lies in the region of Molise. Here you will find rare fauna such as the wolf, eagle and wild boar. In the capital, Campo Basso (40km), which is less than an hour's drive, you will find ancient streets and the old Monforte Castle which dates from the year 1400. Termoli (50 km) is located on the Adriatic coast and still retains its Mediterranean character, which is visible in the old city wall and castle dating from the year 1500. The castle is beautifully situated, towering over the sea. On the Adriatic coast you will find fine sandy beaches such as Marina di Monte Nero (75km) and Campo Marino Lido (53km). An absolute must is an excursion to the Tremiti islands, which is possible from Termoli and takes about an hour. Numerous archaeological remains are scattered everywhere in Molise. Nature makes sure that this history is preserved and lives on. This is especially of the archaeological remains on the Sepino plain (60km) and in the town of Piet Rabbo Dante (105km) but also the Cathedral of Termoli, Larino and the Abbey of San Vincenzo al Volturno.
