DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
This apartment is part of a beautiful villa, situated at the top of the village of Zafferana Etnea, in the hills of Etna, near the sea. From this beautiful village you can reach the top of Mount Etna within half an hour. The villa is located in a quiet residential area and is surrounded by a beautiful, well-kept garden, from where you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills, the volcano and the sea. There is garden furniture and a grill available for the guests. The house has its own parking lot.
This large ground-floor apartment is suitable for 4 to 5 persons. The apartment has a separate entrance and an area of about 330 m2. The spacious living room contains a sofa bed for two persons. Through large sliding doors you access the covered terrace. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the surroundings. The kitchen is fully-equipped with, among others things, toaster, microwave, fridge with freezer, kettle and coffeemaker. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other two single beds. The bedrooms remain cool during the summer thanks to their favorable position in relation to the garden (with palm trees and pine trees). The bathroom is equipped with a tub, shower, sink, toilet and bidet. In every room of the house you will find more than sufficient space in the closets. The apartment is comfortably furnished and has central heating, a television with satellite connection, a radio, DVD and CD player and a washing machine.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
Zafferana Etnea is located in the Etna Nature Reserve, at an altitude of approximately 600 meters above sea level. Thanks to its strategic location, you can access the most beautiful bays of Sicily, such as di Giardini Naxos and Taormina Mare, in a very short time. Also, many important tourist places like Taormina, Acireale, Acitrezza, Syracuse, Catania, Noto and the Alcantara Gulch, lie nearby. The environment around Etna is known for its vineyards and olive gardens. You can walk on footpaths (organized tour) along the rim of the huge Mount Etna volcano. The villa makes an ideal destination for both a vacation in the mountains and at the sea thanks to its favorable location.
