DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Comfortable free standing countryhouse near Kuldiga in the western Latvia. The house is surrounded by beautiful meadows and forest. The yard boarders a pond where you can go swimming and fishing. You will often see deers and storks walking in the backyard.

Division of the house.
Goundfloor: big livingroom with firewood stove, open kitchen (with ceramic plate), 1 double bedroom, toilet and garage.
First floor: 2 bedroom with each 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with a double bed.
Each bedroom has its own badroom with shower and toilet.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Starting from your holidayhouse you can make beautiful daytrips by car or by bike. You can rent bikes at the Tourism Information Centre in Kuldiga. There are also possibilities for horseback riding and canoeing.

There is a lot to see in and around Kuldiga. The widest waterfall in Europe ("Ventas Rumba", 240 m), sand caves and several castles and manors. Kuldiga has an old centre with several churches, historical buildings, museums and a sculpture garden.

In Kuldiga (8 km.) there are supermarkets, restaurants and all other facilities. The yearly Kuldiga City Festival is from 12-16 July 2006.
It is only 45 minutes drive to the sandy beaches of the Baltic coast. The harbour cities Liepaja end Ventspils are also well worth visiting. There are several excellent nature reserves in Kurzeme region where you can see rare species of plants, birds and animals.

The holidayhouse is for rent all year. Rental price includes: towels, kitchen linen, bed sheets, electricity and firewood. Extra charge for more then 5 persons € 30,- per pers. per week.
