DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This completely renovated chalet is part of a very complete holiday park in the forests of Schoonloo. Nature and tranquility are typical of this park. As soon as you arrive you can begin to experience the hospitality of Drenthe as a personal welcome awaits you. Enjoy all the luxury you expect in a modern holiday accommodation. The park has plenty of possibilities to make your holiday a success. Hundreds of acres of national forests, the beautiful village of Schoonloo and the Drenthe province in general offer unlimited hiking and cycling opportunities. Go sunbathing on the beach of the lake and then take a plunge to cool off. If you prefer swimming in the pool, the park has an outdoor swimming pool complete with slide and a separate pool for toddlers. A recreational team offers daily activities and entertainment during the high season. The park's little train collects the children in the park and brings them to the recreational area. After the activities the engineer brings all the children back again. In the restaurant a number of events are held, like bingo and card games, musical entertainment and karaoke.

This comfortably furnished chalet is suitable for a max. of 6 persons. The layout is as follows: a living room with two couches, a TV and a table. The open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas cooker, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker and electric kettle. Furthermore, a dining table with chairs stands opposite the kitchen. The chalet has three bedrooms of which two have bunk beds and a linen cupboard. The largest bedroom has two single beds and a linen cupboard as well. Adjacent to this bedroom there is a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. Bedlinen is for rent (mandatory). Guests have to provide for their own kitchen- and bath towels. Outside on the terrace you have the use of garden furniture. There is a common area with washing machines and dryers (surcharge), spin-driers and ironing boards (free of charge). Common use of parking place.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The holiday park is surrounded by hundreds of acres of national forests and lies close to the picturesque village of Schoonloo. In the immediate vicinity there are two unique recreational lakes with excellent clean water and beautiful beaches. The wonderful surroundings offer plenty of opportunity for cycling and hiking. Especially for our guests we have compiled a booklet with several cycling itineraries in the vicinity of the park. The central location of the park makes it ideal for a number of excursions. In Assen you'll find the Provincial Museum and Youth Traffic Park. Memorial Centre Westerbork in Westerbork and the National Dolmen (Hunebed) Information Centre in Borger are certainly worth a visit. If you are looking for entertainment for your children, Kabouterland (Gnomeland) in Exloo or the Noorder Zoo in Emmen are a must. Of course don't miss the city of Groningen with its beautiful historic town center. The inner city is car-sparse and therefore an excellent place for a nice day of shopping.
