DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This magnificent park sits high on the Drenthe Hondsrug. The park was recently rebuilt at the site of a really beautiful farm. Surrounded by forests and heath, the park has bungalows and a hotel. Both offer a very wide range of facilities ranging from a wonderful outdoor pool with childrens pool to a mini-golf course, bowling alley and several restaurants. There is plenty to do for both young and old! Children can enjoy the large outdoor pool with water slide or ride a nice 'cool' mountain bike or go-carts in the woods with their new friends. The youngest have not been forgotten either: they can play on the playground or in a separate small pool with toys. For the very small there is a small wading pool which is only 20 cm deep. Or what about a trip with a 'Bolderkar' (a hand-drawn cart) or bicycle? You can also play miniature golf or tennis. In the vast park you will find a variety of comfortable bungalows which offer space for 4 to 8 persons depending on the layout. Even the smallest plots (per bungalow) have a minimum area of 500 m2. On the farm there is a modern bowling alley with 4 lanes, suitable for up to 6 persons per lane. There is a swimming pool (25 m long and 1.4 m deep) for the exclusive use of the guests of the bungalow park. The swimming pool has a large 40 m long slide for children. The pools are surrounded by a lawn where you can relax and enjoy plenty of fresh air. Other facilities of the park include: a park restaurant, miniature golf course, indoor playground and a large outdoor playground toys.The swimming pool is open from 27 April 2012 until 14 September 2012 (it depends on the weather). Guests arriving until April 27 and after September 14 (until 26 April 2013) may swim at Hunzedal. Tickets are available free at the reception.

This detached bungalow is suitable for up to 6 people and it was built at the end of 2006. The total (residential) area of the bungalow is approximately 125 m². The format is as follows: entrance hall, separate toilet spacious living room, dining area and luxury kitchen with fridge with separate freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher and full 4-pitsgascomfort and device for the above mentioned number of persons. A washing machine and dryer is also available. The living room has a color TV with remote control, a fireplace, audioset, DVD player and a sitting area. On the first floor are three bedrooms, two with two single beds and a double bed and a half television. In all rooms there is plenty of cupboard space. Additionally, this property has a spacious bathroom on the floor with bath, shower, sink and toilet. We have a final cleaning and the client gets the bed linen for free. Outside on the spacious terrace is sufficient garden furniture available. All bungalows have a separate storage room for bicycles, for example. There is a parking lot for only one car at the bungalow. The establishment / classification of the bungalows can differ.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The surroundings of this holiday park are beautiful and make a great starting point for exploring the landscape of Drenthe. The park is adjacent to the Hunzebos (Hunzewald) of Forst Borger and, if you park at the left rear exit, then Odoorn lies on a heath field only a short walk away. The beautiful landscape with its vast forests is on the verge of a major suburban area which is expanding toward Germany and provides many good opportunities for hiking, biking or horseback riding on one of the many splendid routes. You can also visit the living heritage village of Orvelte or an exibition of glass horns at 'de Blaaspijp' in Borger. Even a visit to the traffic park or the TT circuit in Assen is worthwhile. And when it rains the covered 'Speelstad Oranje' in Beilen is very nice for children. The zoo in Emmen, considered the most beautiful animal and butterfly park in Europe, complete with a patagonia department, is also highly recommended. On your car or bike rides you can enjoy the characteristic landscape with its historic villages and numerous attractions. Some sights that are worth seeing inlcude: the ancient grave center, Borger, Assen Transportation Park, Exloo golf course (to play golf without GVB and for golf lessons - just 500m from the farm), "Semslanden" golf course, A-status Golf Course (10 minutes from the farm) and the Planetron Cinedome, for movies and watching the stars.
