DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

The Sandur Drenthe holiday park is surrounded by lots of natural beauty. The countryside here, which is not typical of the Netherlands, is particularly striking due to its extensive moorlands and wide expanses of meadowland. The park lies amidst nature and offers guests plenty of space. The villas are situated in the park, scattered about in small islands and peninsulas. They are all comfortably furnished. From here you have wonderful views of the large recreational lake. On the lake you can canoe or make use of the pedal or whisper boats. Be sure to visit the indoor pool, sports complex or the park center with its variety of restaurants, a supermarket and indoor playground. As the largest town in the region, Emmen offers a varied range of activities including many leisure parks which will be exciting for the children.

The "Select" villa is an ideal option - a bit of extra comfort and very user-friendly. Here you will feel at home while on holiday. The furnishings and area of the holiday villas may vary.This 61 m2 villa has two levels and is ideal for 4 persons. The living room contains a cozy sitting corner, flat-screen TV, audio / CD player and DVD player. Double doors lead to the terrace.There are two bedrooms, each furnished with two separate beds, complete with duvets and pillows. The kitchen is fully-equipped including a sufficient quantity of crockery, silverware and pots/pans plus a 4-burner gas stove (no oven), microwave with grill, fridge with 3* freezer box, dishwasher, Senseo coffeemaker and kettle. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, toilet and sink. The toilet is separate. There is also a baby crib and highchair and WiFi internet coverage (for a fee).Your private terrace even has its own garden furniture.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Enjoy the magnificent Zuid-Oost Drenthe! The best way of getting to know the many facets of Drenthe is by bike, and not just during the Landelijke Fietsvierdaagse (National Cycling Four-Days). Bring your bike or hire one at Parc Sandur. Here you can also go canoeing, pedal boating or sailing with the electrically powered ‘whisper’ boats. Had enough of pedaling for now? Then stop by the covered swimming pool, the sports complex or the Park Centre with its range of restaurants, a supermarket and an indoor playtime paradise. Incidentally, did you know that Emmen has a wide range of recreational facilities? One of the loveliest zoos in the Netherlands, Dierenpark Emmen, is just one example. You really shouldn’t miss it.
