DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
This quaint and cozy cottage is located close to the Veluwe Kroondomein, with its vast forests and fields. The house offers a wide view of the meadows where cows and calves often graze. The house is part of a farm. There is a ramp that leads to a sandy street. This sandy street is mainly for the locals, so you can enjoy plenty of peace and quiet here. On the farm young cows are kept. The yard of the farm goes up to the back of the house, so you will not be bothered by it. If you are interested in the ins and outs of a farm, you are always welcome to talk to the owners and have a look around. The house is located between Hamilton and Emst, about 2 kilometers from the center of Epe. Epe is a cozy village with a wide range of shops. Two years ago a new shopping center was built, called the Veluwepoort. In summer there are several tourist attractions, including a rummage sale on Fridays (6 times during the summer). There are also numerous sports facilities in Epe which are perfect for a day of fun such as bowling and archery. April 1st the water-skiing center of Kievitsveld opens its doors. This is situated about 4 km from the house. The water-ski line is a drag lift in the water which pulls wake boarders along by a rope. Multiple persons can use the track at the same time. Even if you have never water-skied, you can try it here as there are lessons given to enable you to master the basic principles. Afterward you can enjoy a barbecue. In mid-summer 2008, on the same site, the spa of Veluwse Source opened. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, it offers the possibility for both young and old to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
This house, with a total area of approx. 55 m², can accommodate up to 5 persons. On the ground floor you will find a spacious hall equipped with a fridge, microwave and washing machine. In addition, the kitchen contains a coffeemaker, kettle and toaster plus complete dinnerware for the stated number of guests. The partially open living room is equipped with Digitenne, a DVD player, radio, CD player and cassette recorder. Also located on the ground floor are a shower and toilet and a bedroom furnished with a bunk bed. On the first floor there is a spacious bedroom furnished with a double bed and a child bed plus a small single bedroom. Each bed has quilts, only the child bed does not have blankets. If you like, you can rent bed linen and/or the bed making service. There are bath towels, towels, tea towels, dish cloths and flannels available. There is also an ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner available. Baby / children's bath upon request. The house has a private sauna. Outside there is a terrace with garden chairs and cushions. There is also a nice garden, where almost every month something is in bloom. The terrace is located on the side where the sun rises, so in the morning you can enjoy your coffee outside. For children there are swings, a sandbox, trampoline and two karts present. This past spring, the owner removed some vegetation and made a lawn. There are two sun beds available so you can relax. There is a new sauna in the house with 2 couches and a relaxation area with 2 armchairs.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
In the vicinity there are numerous entertainment possibilities. Nature alone offers so much that there are days you could do without entertainment. Special things include: the beautiful surrounding woods and fields with their numerous routes; the Wisselse Veen; the Renderklippen with its heather-covered moraines, the Kievitsveld recreation area with lake and beach, Lake Veluwe, Zandenplas recreation area in the forests around Veluwe and Zandenbos. In the surroundings you can often see boar, deer etc. There are many cultural opportunities in the environment: the castle in Cannenburgh Vaassen, Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn, a bakery museum, police museum, artillery museum, Anton Pieck Museum and much more. Other leisure facilities include: a trout farm in Kaarsenmakerij, Apenheul Juliana Toren, Burgers Zoo, Dolfinarium, Walibi Flevo, Animal Exchange and subtropical and tropical swimming pools. As you can see, you will not have time to become bored here! So come and enjoy this clean, cozy and beautiful homey environment.
