DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This chalet is part of a new park with a special character and lots of beautiful natural scenery including vast meadows and forests. In the vicinity you will find a riding school, tennis courts and several golf courses. The rural location - in the Arnhem-Apeldoorn-Zutphen triangle - plus the lack of playgrounds in the park, make this park ideal for 50-plus and young families who are looking for peace and quiet but with ample opportunities for excursions.

This spacious cottage can accommodate 3 persons. A hall provides access to the living room, bedrooms and closet. The spacious living room has a bay window and is tastefully decorated and equipped with a TV and CD player. From the living room you have access to the bathroom and bedrooms. Sliding doors open onto a terrace. - The kitchen is equipped with many appliances including a toaster, kettle, coffeemaker, 4-burner stove with oven, microwave and a fridge-freezer. - There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and sliding closet, the other with 1 single bed. A baby bed can be added. There is a fully tiled bathroom with a sink and vanity, shower with glass door, radiator and toilet. - The chalet also has a garden with paving, a furnished terrace and private parking. Upon request, a highchair can be added.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The village of Klarenbeek has about 3500 inhabitants. The "De Hoop" corn mill still operates. Interesting to see! - Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn is situated in the forests. Built for William III, Prince of Orange, it was the favorite summer residence of the royal family from 1686 to 1975. The palace has been a museum since 1984. - The “De Hoge Veluwe” national park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in the Netherlands. Here you'll find more than 5,500 hectares of woodland, heaths, lakes and shifting sands. Together with its Kröller-Müller Museum and accompanying sculptures, it is a unique combination of nature, art and architecture. Furthermore, the Kröller-Müller Museum is world famous for its large collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh There are also works on display by George Seurat, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Leger, Piet Mondrian and many other great artists. St. Hubertus Hunting Lodge is also in the national park of De Hoge Veluwe. It was designed by the architect Berlage and served as a residence for the Kröller-Müller family. - A visit to Burgers Zoo in Arnhem is definitely worth it! This park contains over 3000 animals. – You can see monkeys swinging through the forest, thus you do not need to go to the rainforest. In the forests of the Apeldoorn "Apenheul" you can get to know hundreds of monkeys. - In the Ouwehand Zoo (Rhenen) you will find unusual species living in spacious and natural enclosures. Meet the rare white tigers and white lions, stand nose to nose with polar bears and walk through the unique Berenbos where brown bears and wolves live together. - Dolphinarium Harderwijk introduces you to the world of the sea! The largest marine park in Europe, it has an impressive sea (mammalian) animal collection. - "The Juliana" is a nice park on the outskirts of Apeldoorn (in the middle of the woods). In short, there are many attractions for people of all ages. - The Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem offers a vivid look at everyday life and work 250 years ago in the Netherlands. – With so many attractions near the park, you are sure to have an unforgettable stay!
