DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This surprisingly large bungalow is located on a large plot of land, surrounded by trees, so your privacy is guaranteed! Here you will also find lawns and lakes. Children are free to play without disturbing the neighbors. It feels like you are in the middle of a forest. There is no noise from highways or the town, only the din of birds, ducks and the wind blowing through the trees! The park is a true island of serenity. In the park there are several fish ponds - a great place for fishing! On the edge of the park you will find a small lake.

This bungalow is situated by the water and is suitable for a maximum of 4 persons. The total (residential) area is about 55 square meters. This surprisingly spacious bungalow has been tastefully equipped. The layout: a living room with an adjacent open kitchen containing a dining table; 2 bedrooms; between the bedrooms, a bathroom. The living room has a sitting area with a TV (satellite) and DVD player. The kitchen includes a refrigerator with freezing department, stove, microwave, toaster, water boiler and coffeemaker. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has a linen closet; the other bedroom has a bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, toilet and tiled shower. In the large garden you will find sufficient garden furniture plus a barbecue. The dimensions of the double beds: 1.40x2m; and bunk bed: 0.80x2m. The blankets: double bed: 200x200 and single bed: 140x200.The iglo has a wooden stove and an electric stove. In the garden there is a wooden summerhouse equipped with a sofa. This is not equipped with water / gas / electricity and can therefore only be used from the end of april until the october vacation. On the waterfront terrace you can use a tabel with built in BBQ and chairs.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The municipality of Alphen-Chaam has everything tourists want: a rich history, water, forests and heaths. You can go for wonderful hikes through the vast forested areas courtesy of the many hiking and biking trails in the area. You can also spend the day at one of the picnic areas or excursion sites. Or relax at the large recreational area with its swimming pools, play pond, beach and lawn. There is also a large community pool at your disposal. Alphen-Chaam is also a good starting point for trips to neighboring cities like: Breda and Tilburg, or the nearby town of Baarle-Nassau / Hertog. Other ideas for excursions include the amusement park of Efteling, the "Land van Ooit" and "Beekse Bergen". Then there's the "Het Broek" nature reserve located between Chaam and Ulvenhout. This is a designated nature reserve and has been set up in such a way that the birds are not disturbed. In the western part of the community you will find a few farms which are scenic and culturally valuable. These include Anne Villeneuve, famous for being the temporary residence of Queen Wilhelmina during the liberation of May 1945, and Hondsdonk. In Alphen there is a regional museum with a large collection of archaeological objects plus various crafts from the beginning of the 20th century. You will also find detailed information regarding visits to the grave hill by Kwaalburg and the cemetery at the "Boslust".
