DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
The Eb en Vloed (“Ebb and Flow”) holiday park is home to this well-maintained, AA approved 4-star bungalow – a great place for a wonderful holiday. The south-facing terrace is equipped with 4 garden chairs, 4 bucket chairs, a garden table and a single umbrella. The garden contains a slide and sandbox for children. There is also a barbecue and storage shed in the garden. The holiday park is very child friendly and is a great place for children to play as well as be entertained. Nearby you will find several amusement parks and attractions where both young and old can enjoy themselves, indoor as well as outdoor. There are several nice summer markets and fairs in the vicinity. The park is situated just 2 km from the beach and is not far from wonderful shopping cities like Schagen, Alkmaar and Den Helder. In the summer you can explore the area with its exuberant flowers by bicycle. You can rent bikes just a few hundred meters from the park. At the same distance there is a subtropical swimming pool and a supermarket that is open 7 days a week (in summer). There are also snack bars, bar dancing and fine dining options at the end of the Belkmerweg.
This bungalow is very neat and has central heating in all rooms. The bungalow has a comfortable and modern living room (25 m2) furnished with a double and three-person couch. There is also a white-oak dining table with four chairs, chair, color TV with cable and remote control, home cinema system with DVD / CD player and a VCR. The living room and bedrooms have laminated floors. The open kitchen includes a 4-burner stove, hood, coffeemaker (a Senseo coffee machine is also available), refrigerator-freezer combination (fridge capacity of 200 liters; 3 freezer compartments with 85 liter capacity), kettle, toaster, juicer, microwave and dishwasher. The shower and toilet are separate (both fully tiled and in excellent condition). The shower area is shielded by a shower curtain. Furthermore, there is a sink with vanity unit and a toilet unit with mirror, shaving point and extra lighting. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom (6 m2) is furnished with a double bed (140 x 200) with two 1-person synthetic duvets and a wardrobe (90 cm). The second bedroom (4 m2) has a pine bunk bed (90 x 200) with two single synthetic duvets, plus a wardrobe.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
The clean beach of Saint Maartenszee lies just 2 km from the holiday park and is above all a nice beach where families can enjoy themselves. Kids love water and sand, which is sufficiently present. There are two beach clubs where you can eat after a nice time on the beach. The surrounding area is ideal for exploring by bike. A few hundred meters from the park there is a bicycle rental service. An extensive network of bicycle paths which wind their way through various dunes ensure that you will not easily become bored. On your journey you will encounter dune lakes and pine forests. The paths through the dunes are also suitable for Nordic walking. For nature lovers, in the summer months you can go by bicycle to the 604-hectare Zwanenwater nature area. This is a great place to view exuberant flowers, or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. A few hundred meters from the holiday park there is a recreation area with: a mega playground for kids and adults, an indoor playground with ball pools, an indoor tropical pool with solarium and sauna and all-weather tennis courts. There is also a supermarket that is open 7 days a week during the summer. At the end of the Belkmerweg you’ll find a cozy pizzeria, a pub, bar / nightclub and buffet. In addition, there are various summer fairs and markets in the immediate vicinity. This bungalow makes an excellent starting point for visits to little towns like Schagen with its summer folkloric market; Alkmaar, famous for its cheese market; the artist village of Bergen; Schoorl with a climbing dune; Callantsoog; and the naval city of Den Helder.
