DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
The Schotsman Holiday Park is a paradise for water sports fans as well as nature lovers. The resort is situated directly on Lake Veere but also lies adjacent to a large forest. Thus you can enjoy both aquatic activities and camping. There is also a great windsurfing center here. Just 2 kilometers away lie the beaches of the North Sea. In the surrounding area you can find several nature reserves. Whether you’re looking for a little peace and quiet among the greenery of nature, action on the water or culture in historic cities, here in the heart of Zealand your holiday is certain to be a success! From the Schotsman you can sail the entire 20 kilometer length of Lake Veere. Facilities of the park include: tennis courts, mini-golf, bike rentals, a sailing school and a surfing school. Next to the holiday park there is a water park where you can learn to water ski. In the park’s restaurant, in addition to an extensive menu, you can get snacks including pizzas to go. The park has its own boat jetty and slip. In the heated outdoor pool you can swim from the end of April until early September. Furthermore, there is a triple super slide, a jet stream and a separate paddling pool for toddlers and preschoolers. At the edge of the Veerse the water is shallow and there is a special section designed for children. Plenty of water fun with opportunities for fun on the beach or on the playground. - The pictures give an impression of the holiday park. Your bungalow is not situated directly on the water and looks different.
This detached bungalow is suitable for up to 6 persons and has a total (living) area of approximately 80m2. The layout of the ground floor is as follows: a hall, toilet and living room with a kitchen (with freezer, 4-burner stove with hood, microwave and complete dinnerware for the stated number of guests). The living room has a dining table and sitting area with a color TV and fireplace. This bungalow has 3 bedrooms (2 downstairs, 1 upstairs) with a total of 4 single beds and 1 bunk bed. Duvets (single) and pillows are available. Linen is included in the price. There is 1 bathroom in the bungalow with a shower / toilet. Furthermore, the bungalow has a storage area and parking. Outside on the terrace there is ample garden furniture at your disposal. On request there are baby beds, highchairs, baby baths and playpens available free of charge (as long as supplies last). VM6 bungalows are equipped with a sauna.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
The Schotsman is located just opposite the old town of Veere, one of the pearls of Zeeland. On your trips in the Zeeland you can admire other wonderful gems such as Middelburg, Zierikzee and Vlissingen. The old trading town of Goes in South Beveland is also very worthwhile. A great attraction in the area is the "Waterland Neeltje Jans” theme park on the island of Oosterschelde. With the children you can go to the Arsenal in Vlissingen or the Miniature Walcheren in Middelburg. In the park you can rent surf boards and surfing suits, canoes and sail boats. During the high season there is also a sailing school present. Surfing enthusiasts can visit the park’s windsurfing center complete with surfing beach, surf school, surf shop, lockers for surfboards and a swinging “surf-inn”. If you would like to learn to water ski it is possible with the cable water ski facility located next to the park. In Kamperland you can visit a beer brewery, a planetarium and a "shoot-a-laser" center. The island of Northern Beveland has an indescribably beautiful nature with lots of tranquility, vast fields, water and birds. Furthermore, a visit to picturesque towns such as Veere, Middelburg, Goes and Zierkzee is highly recommended. Of course, do not forget a visit to Delta Park Neeltje Jans where you can view an exhibition on the history, construction and operation of the Delta Works.
