DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

CASA JOAO in Praia da Luz is a very comfortable studio-appartment with terrace and garden at a short distance of the promenade and the beach of Praia da Luz.
The appartment has 2 single beds. a dining place, snug corner, bookshelf, wardrobe and satellite TV.
There is a separate bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, electric griddle, coffee making machine etc. Everything needed for cooking and dining is available.
Outside is a sunny private terrace and garden.

All household goods are available including bed and bath linen. It is not necessary to bring your own. Only for use on the beach please bring your own.

The position and the unique character of CASA JOAO makes it a nice place for a holiday in the sun for little money.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

PRAIA DA LUZ, the sun drenched southwestern part of the Algarve offers a nice sandy beach, guarded in summer and safe for children. It is a small resort which means that all facilities are easy walking distance within the town centre. The town has all the required amenities which include: post office, bank, busstop, cash dispending machines, Internet cafe, several supermarkets, restaurants and terraces, pharmacy and a good medical centre.

If water sports are your preference, there ar two centres at the beach providing everything from banana boat rides to sailing lessons and fishing excursions.
Facilities at or near Praia da Luz include scuba diving, water-skiing, windsurfing, microlite, horse riding and of course golf. There are four golf courses within a twenty minute drive.
Swimming pools and tennis in the vicinity.

Praia da Luz is close to the historic town of Lagos, with a cosmopolitian marina and great shops.

PRICES AND PERIODS

CASA JOAO is available for your holiday from 1/1 to 31/12 every year. We advise to book early to prevent disappointment.

The rates are in euro per week (8 days/7 nights) and based on a occupancy of 2 persons. The rates include use of water/electricity, cleaning and all linen. The housekeeper will come every week and will change the bed linen. Bath linen will be changed 2x weekly.
The final cleaning and tourist taxes are also included.

For longer stays in winter there will be a special rate for a minimum of 4 weeks stay with 1/2 persons. Please ask for the details.
