DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
This apartment is in Busteni city, Prahova county. It's one of the most popular tourist centers in Romania. The resort has a reputation for some extreme skiing as well as the usual cruising slopes. In summertime the tourists come here for the climbing tracks.<br>The apartment is situated in a very spectacular place near the Hotel Silva and the two cable cars of Babele and Pestera. Because of its location it is convenient to practice winter sports as well as climbing or hiking.<br>Taking advantage of the neighborhood, visitors can make use of the facilities of the hotel Silva like: bar, a first class restaurant, coffee bar with patio, disco and electronic game room, and tennis court (with synthetic overlay and night installation).<br>Just behind the Hotel Silva there is a large indoor sports facility with areas for soccer, tennis, handball, volleyball, badminton, boxing, wrestling and martial arts. There is also a sauna.<br>The apartment is situated at the foot of the Caraiman Mountains, which provides plenty of opportunity for those who like to make excursions, as it's only 10 minutes walk to the heart of nature.<br>There is parking in front of the house. The accommodation does not have its own garden.<br>
The apartment is located on the ground floor in a blockhouse. As you step into the hall, on the right side you find the kitchen, equipped with cupboard, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, china, dishes, and glasses. Also on the right side you will find a bedroom with king-size bed, wardrobe, night-table and TV. On the left side there is another hall from which you step into the bathroom containing wash basin, bathtub and toilet. The bathroom is equipped with toiletries. Also on the left side is the second bedroom with king-size bed. In the center of the apartment is the living room which contains a studio coach, armchair, TV, and DVD player. The apartment has its own heating system.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
Busteni is situated in the Prahova Valley, in Prahova County, at the foot of Caraiman Massif in the Bucegi Mountains. It's one of the most spectaculars resorts as it is surrounded by amazing peaks.<br>Busteni has cool summers (average temperature in July: 15.5°C), and cold winters (average temperature in January : -5°C). Each year the pure air and breathtaking landscape bring thousands of tourists to Romania where they can enjoy skiing and hiking. <br>The resorts along the mountain chain which cross Romania from north to south, offer their guests excellent facilities for recreation in summer and winter. During the winter months, Busteni station offers the possibility to practice skiing and sledding. Here there are ski paths with different difficulty levels.<br>There are opportunities for hiking, caving, observing nature or skiing on well-marked slopes. Busteni is a spa which operates all year round. The climate and fresh air (without allergens), as well as the healthy ozone-rich environment is recommended for the recovery treatment of asthenic neurosis (as well as other asthenic conditions), physical and intellectual overexertion, rachitis, and physical developmental problems in children, and general convalescence. Busteni makes a great starting point for trips into the mountains around which are numerous natural phenomenas: "Babele" - a wind-chiseled slope in the Bucegi Massif; the "Shpynx" - the result of the combined action of wind, rain and snow; gorges, caves, etc.<br>There are two cable cars in the city: Busteni - Babele, length 4.350 m, level difference 1.235 m, within 13 minutes; Babele - Pestera, length 2.611 m, level difference 560 m, within 10 minutes. The area is not only rich in natural and geographical phenomenas, but also in churches, monuments, museums and castles.<br>
