DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Hornos is a municipality and lies within the Nature Park of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, which belongs to the region of the Sierra de Segura. Pine forests make up approximately 80% of Hornos' territory, and the surroundings contain many attractive natural landscapes, including rugged highlands and the El Tranco reservoir. The urban center is situated on a large cliff, crowned by a castle, and has retained the atmosphere of a medieval village. It overlooks one of the offshoots of the El Tranco Lake. You will find hidden gems in idyllic landscapes such as La Platera o La Capellanía, Cañada Morales and El Tranco. With a strong agricultural character, it is not surprising you can find authentic havens of peace and tranquility.

This newly-built house incorporates many elements of the local architecture and has exposed wood beams on the deck. The house has a total area of 60 m2 and is suitable for 5 persons. Downstairs there is a living room, kitchen and balcony while on the first floor you'll find two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are simple, comfortable and have been tastefully decorated. The first contains a double bed while the other has two single beds. The bathroom has a bath, sink and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas cooker, toaster, refrigerator and microwave plus the basic cooking utensils. Moreover, the accommodation has central heating, a TV and a washing machine. From the windows and terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are available for rent (mandatory). There is also the possibility to rent an extra bed.

In the Nature Park of Cazorla, Segura and Villas you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities while spending a relaxing holiday in one of our cozy rural accommodations. The most common activities are: 4x4 trails, hiking, visiting historic and cultural heritage sites, mountain biking, nature photography, horseback riding, multi-adventure, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, rafting, pirogue, hydrospeed, paragliding and hang gliding. Some of these activities can be practiced individually, for others there are specialized groups. We are more than glad to help you plan your leisure activities or answer any questions you might have. Our accommodations are located within an hour of Ubeda and Baeza, cities with a rich legacy, declared World Heritage sites by UNESCO. They can be visited easily.
