DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN
This beautiful detached holiday house with pool is situated on the Costa del Sol, in the village of Frigiliana which is a small village located at an altitude of approximately 400 meters. It is about 6 kilometers past Nerja. It is one of the best preserved Moorish towns on Andalusia and dates from 1767. Situated on a hill (some climbing required), the small old town with its picturesque streets has been beautifully renovated. Despite the many tourists, it seems as if time has stood still here. Every evening, on the village square you can watch as all the old black-clad men and women go to church. On the square you can also get good food, but for the really nice restaurants you must go even higher in the village where you will also enjoy a nice view of the village of Nerja with the coast in the background. Moreover, there are some nice Frigiliana furniture and accessory shops here, including pottery and wood carvings, and you can also sample wine and sherry (the village is part of the “Sun and Wine Route”). Frigiliana even has its own waterfall. Frigiliana has a new part (at the fork in the village go to the right) but it is in exactly the same style. The old part is a little further up the mountain. If you can not get enough of the beautiful view, you can take the winding road from the top of the village to Torrox Pueblo. The road to the wine village of Competa is somewhat "adventurous". If you prefer, you can drive from Torrox Pueblo. There is a market in Frigiliana on Thursday mornings (until 2:00pm).
This rural house is situated just 3 km from the sea and beaches. The interior is complete and well-maintained. From the house and large garden (with pool) you have a beautiful view of the sea and surrounding mountains. In addition to a pool, the garden contains several terraces (one with a table and 6 chairs), a solarium, a poolside shower, sun loungers, parasols and a barbecue. The house has a living room with a kitchenette (equipped with a stove, oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, blender, juicer, pans, pots, iron, vacuum cleaner, glasses, plates, etc). The bathroom has a bathtub with shower, a bidet, washbasin and hairdryer. There are a total of three bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. The other two bedrooms each have one single bed. There is the possibility to add two single beds (upon request, in advance). The living room has two couches, a fireplace and a satellite TV. You have a private parking space at the house.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES
Malaga lies on the southern coast of Spain, surrounded by mountains. This typical Andalusian port city, with 700,000 inhabitants, is the largest town on the Costa Del Sol. Here it seems as if the sun is always shining! Every year thousands of tourists come to the city of Malaga. Málaga is known far and wide for its delicious wine, but the city also has a number of tourist attractions as well as a rich, fascinating history which is evident as you stroll through its center. Unlike many other tourist resorts, Malaga has retained its authentic Spanish Andalusian charm. In August, the “Feria de Malaga” festival attracts scores of people with its flamenco dancing and costumes and singing in the streets with drink in hand. If you like exuberant festivals, don’t miss the Feria de Malaga! This spectacle lasts less than 10 days (and nights), and in addition to great music, there is plenty of good food and drink. If you prefer to take it a little slower, you can always visit attractions and museums in Málaga. For example, the CAC Malaga, the Alcazaba, the English cemetery, the Roman amphitheater and the Picasso Museum. And of course, you can always relax on the beach which, despite the numerous visitors, is always kept very neat. After all, it is not for nothing that Malaga is called the jewel of the Costa del Sol.
