DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

'Ferienhaus Apartments Anica' has on the ground floor two luxury studio/apartments that sleeps 2 and one luxury apartment that sleeps 2+2 as well as 1 luxury apartment sleeping 2+2 on the upper floor.
It is located at the Viganj beach and very popular during the months of July and August for a vacation in the sun or a recreational holiday. During spring and autumn the house is mostly rent to surfers from all over the world (as well experienced surfers as the real fanatics). Besides the regattas during the month of August, they also want to keep up during the months of September, October and November, often they already arrive in March and April. The surfing material can be stored in a lockable garage only 30m away from the "private beach", at a charge of 3€/piece/day.
Breathtaking sceneries, located at the sunny side of the longest peninsula (with the most hours of sun a year), surrounded with unique Mediterranean vegetation and ancient vineyards. The world- famous red wines Dingac, Plavac, Peljesac and Postup are bottled here.
Several trips possible: Dubrovnik, the national reserve Isle Mljet, Mostar and the place of pilgrimage Medjugorje. Or a trip to the Neretvadelta and have dinner with the fishermen. On the way you can pay a visit to the numerous private wineries and their wine cellars in Drace or to the oyster cultures with oysters from the Peljesac bay, having an extremely high purity level. SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

Vigan, Kuciste or Orebic and Mokalo have everything you can dream of: crystal clear water, plenty of small bays, pebble beaches hidden in between the cliffs, the endless sand beaches of Orebic, diving schools, areas for scuba-diving. Viganj is a real must for the surfers and kite surfers, world cup regattas are held here.
Bikers, mountaineers, mountain walkers and joggers will love it here as well.

In high season at 4pm a real happening breaks loose: approx 60-100 surfers sail en masse through the Korcula channel and a large number of kite surfers have the mistral wind in their kite, like colourful seagulls against a blue sky.
The beauty of Viganj is that beside the fact you can sail to Korcula - Marco Polo's native town - for a coffee or a date, you also have the certainty to be seen in case of problems. There is a lot of solidarity among the surfers here and you'll feel at home the moment you are unpacking your luggage. It's a genuine delight to sail away while looking at the old pine trees and tamaris trees.
