DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

This cozy and detached home is part of a farm and consists of two apartments. It is ideal for agro-tourism lovers, families with children or larger groups. The house is situated in the village of Prosečné, just 200 meters from a golf course and about 9 km from the famous tourist and cultural city of Vrchlabí, on the border of the Giant Mountains. Nearby you can find many cultural and historic monuments as well as sports opportunities. The farm also has another rental property: an apartment. Your accommodation is surrounded by a beautifully tended garden with volleyball court, table tennis table, communal swimming pool (3.66x7.30x1.20 m) and an unobstructed view of the neighboring woods and nature. The farm even has animals which is a good way to learn about the rural life. This is a great experience especially for children. In addition, the house has a covered terrace with a sitting area and barbecue, plus there is a swing and slide for children. Parking is available directly by the house (on private property) or in a common covered parking area. Every day fresh bread, eggs and honey are available from the owner. A laundry facility (with washer and dryer) and internet are located in the main building. In short, an excellent accommodation for up to 14 persons.

This house consists of two apartments connected by an internal staircase. It is ideal for up to 14 persons. On the ground floor you will find a kitchen with a dining room that also serves as a living room. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, kettle and coffeemaker. The dining / living room has a large dining table with wooden benches and a television with a satellite connection. The dining area provides access to the terrace or balcony. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, one suitable for 4 persons, the other two suitable for two persons each. There is also a bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower, two sinks and a separate toilet. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor. The first floor (the second apartment) contains a kitchen with a dining area. This kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, coffeemaker, kettle and fridge. There are two bedrooms, one furnished with 4 beds, the second with two beds, a sitting area, TV and sink. There is a bathroom with a shower, bath, sink and toilet. The spacious covered front terrace has chairs, a parasol and a barbecue. The whole building has central heating.

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

In the summer it is great to work and play in the garden with small children. For a sporting and relaxing holiday, this part of the Czech Republic offers a variety of possibilities. Cycling and hiking along a network of marked trails, playing tennis on a rented court or a round of golf at a 9-hole golf course located just 200 meters away! Swimming is possible in the pool of the farm or in swimming pools located in Hostinné (5 km) or Trutnov (20 km). The pool in Trutnov is even heated. In the immediate vicinity of the Giant Mountains you can find many interesting tourist spots, such as the famous city of Vrchlabí (9 km). This is a typical tourist place with sights such as the Giant Mountains Museum situated inside of a baroque monastery, and a castle with a romantic natural environment including a series of natural monuments. The Giant Mountains are very popular: 8 million people a year visit this area. It is a paradise for hiking and sports of all kinds. On the tops of the mountains a wilderness with a network of marked hiking and biking trails await hikers. - There is a wide array of indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, massages, tennis, golf, horseback riding and other "wellness" facilities here. – Recommended places include: Hostinné, with its Greek and Roman images which have been responsibly restored. - Spindleruv Mlyn and Sv Petr (St. Peter; near Spindleruv Mlyn) with a summer toboggan run. - Horní Mísečky which is connected to Spindleruv Mlyn by a gondola.- Labský důl (the Valley of the Elbe) with rocky ravines and numerous waterfalls including the Pančavský Vodopad, the highest waterfall in the Czech Republic (250 m). - One of the most beautiful trails leads from Spindleruv Mlyn to the source of the Elbe. Along the way you’ll pass through the mountain station of Medvědín, past a watchtower and memorial, the Pančavský Vodopad, and lots of beautiful wooden houses. The Giant Mountains are sure to be an unforgettable experience!
