DESCRIPTION & HOUSE PLAN

Cascina Barricchetti is a typical Piemonte farmhouse, renovated, with 3 separate holiday rentals. Its idyllic location on a hilltop gives a breathtaking panoramic view from the French Alps to the Mont Blanc massif. The charm of this accommodation is the unique location and the practical, modern furniture. The 3 apartments can be booked individually or in its entirety for max 16 people.
The large apartment (with floor heating) has 3 bedrooms, each having their own bathroom of which one adapted for wheelchairs. The 2 smaller apartments each sleep 2-4 people. All apartments have a well equipet kitchen/combined dining.
The courtyard has a sandpit for the children, the large dining table under the fig tree is for joint use and there is plenty of space to play ball games.
All guests can use the leisure room "Salone" with fire place, TV, large dining table, sitting area, Hi-Fi. The house is very well suited for larger families or groups. The spacious garden with fruit trees and vineyard is cultivated by ourselves and our guests can taste our own wine "Barricchetti" (Dolcetto-grape).

SURROUNDINGS & ACTIVITIES

The South of Piemont is known for its great food and delicious wine, a true paradise for bon vivants.
Attractive and interesting cities such as Barolo, Alba, Saluzzo, Cuneo and Turin are easy accessible. Many castles, fortresses and lovely villages on the idyllic hills of the Langhe.
In Dogliani, where we stay, you'll find everything you need during your holiday and there is a market every Tuesday. In the famous wine-growing region of Barolo you can visit many winegrowers, make lovely walks through the vineyards and visit small places by bike. Dogliani has a tennis court and a public swimming pool and there is a second, small and romantic swimming pool in Bossolasco. It takes an hour drive to reach the Ligurian coast where you can have a swim. And when you've had plenty of food, visits and walks you can sit down and relax in your lounger to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside! As while we're working in our vineyard...

PRICES AND PERIODS

We rent from Saturday to Saturday. Electricity, gas, water and taxes as well as final cleaning, bed linen, bath linen and tea cloths are included in the price.
The small apartments can be rent as from 450,00 euro/week, the larger apartment as from 700,00 euro/week, depending on the number of guests.
Special rates for groups, breakfast can be arranged.
